Fans of San Antonio art still have a chance to see two huge shows featuring local artists. Fan of a Fan at Space C7 on the South Side features 44 artists and SanAntonioZone.Com at FL!GHT Gallery in the Blue Star complex, with 30 artists, has been extended through May.

Artist Caroline Gonzales opens her new solo show, The Journey Through Life is Filled With… on Friday, May 10, from 6-9 p.m. at Clamp Light Studios and Gallery.
Also Friday night, float on over to River Sun to see guitarist Dan Carillo and MAYA — musician and fan Armando Tejeda told the San Antonio Report that Carillo, who taught music at the City College of New York, is the real deal.
Next Friday through Sunday, dance your way through the big Tejano Conjunto Festival. The massive lineup includes Eva Ybarra y su Conjunto Siempre, Los Texmaniacs with Flaco Jimenez, and Los Fantasmas del Valle performing on Sunday evening. Make sure to get your tickets.
